The Steuben Youth Leadership Summit provides an opportunity for youth leaders to have a direct line of communication with state and county government leaders. Through a Q&A format, Summit participants hear from elected leaders on issues facing county and local governments and in turn, are able to express the issues and priorities of today’s youth.
Participants enhance their understanding of the role they can play as leaders in their communities, and gain strategies for becoming more effective leaders in their schools and communities.
Participation in the Steuben Youth Leadership Summit is open to sophomores, juniors, seniors, and recent graduates, and is by invitation only. Youth interested in participating must submit an application to the Steuben County Youth Bureau, and those selected for participation will receive an invitation.
Additional information is available by contacting the Steuben County Youth Bureau, or emailing Jim Gallagher.
The 2019 Steuben Youth Leadership Summit will be held on Saturday, November 9th, in Bath. Applications are due November 1st.
